Supriya Raman is a seasoned leader with over 18 years of experience, currently serving as an AI Engineering Manager at IBM. In this role, she leads the integration of advanced AI technologies, including Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Generative AI, within IBM’s WatsonX Client Engineering team. Supriya is pioneering initiatives like Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and Reinforcement Learning to enhance decision-making and client engagements.
Prior to joining IBM, Supriya was the Senior Vice President of Data Engineering at JPMorgan Chase, where she directed the development and deployment of AI/ML solutions. She led mission-critical projects, utilizing agile methodologies like Scrum, and focused on delivering user-centric data science solutions.

In addition to her technical expertise, Supriya is actively involved in career mentoring and upskilling, coaching students and professionals from leading universities. She is a Google Women Tech Ambassador and plays a significant role in the IEEE ICWITE Organizing Committee.
