I am a self-confessed Data Geek. I have been involved in the field of machine learning since the early 1990s and have derived immense pleasure in developing algorithms, applying them to real-world problems and training a host of data analysts in the capacity of being an academic and data analytics consultant.
I have published over 90 academic papers on data mining while an Associate Professor at the University of Warwick and previous academic posts in the United Kingdom. I moved back to India in 2012 and co-founded Tatras Data, a lab based data science consultancy. In 2018, I co-founded Sabudh Foundation in Mohali, Punjab to train engineering students in Machine Learning and to work on social problems in education, farming, governance and healthcare. I am currently also adjunct faculty at IISER, Mohali and Director at BML Munjal University, Gurugram.
