Santosh Bhat has over 23 years of experience in the Machine Learning & Advanced Analytics area and currently leads the tech innovations at Policybazaar (Machine Learning/AI, Blockchain etc). He’s been with Policybazaar for over 2.5 years solving some of the most complex problems in Speech recognition, Fraud detection, NLP etc. Over the last 10 years, he has held leadership positions at companies such as Microsoft, Hotstar, Myntra and GEP prior to Policybazaar. Overall in his career, he has worked in several domains such as Computer Vision, NLP/NLU, Deep Learning, Optimization, Personalization and predictive analytics. He started his career at General Motors Research Labs as a Research Scientist.
He holds 4 US Patents and 2 Journal publications. Santosh has a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters degree in Engineering Management with Optimization as his focus area. He currently resides in Gurugram with his family with 2 kids. He enjoys wildlife photography and long-distance running.
