Rajesh Mani is the Senior Vice President and Head of Mastercard’s Asia Pacific Tech Hubs. In this role, he leads the company’s tech hubs across Asia Pacific, where he is focused on driving synergy and collaboration within and across hubs and businesses. His role also involves enabling strategic connections with the local ecosystems, strengthening the technology brand, fostering culture and engagement, and leveraging the hubs to attract and develop the best tech talent.

Rajesh has more than two decades of experience in the payments and fintech sector. Previously he was the Country Manager for Sri Lanka & Maldives, where he led efforts and successful partnerships to strengthen payments infrastructure through technology. He also played a key role in supporting Mastercard’s digital acceleration in the ASEAN region, engagement with the domestic switch in Indonesia, as well as partnerships enabling new payment flows.

Prior to Mastercard, Rajesh has held leadership roles in organizations such as American Express, Airtel and ITC, and has also been a successful entrepreneur.

Rajesh holds a master’s degree in business administration from the Indian School of Business.
