Rahul Ghosh is the Senior Director, Data Science at Walmart Global Tech. In his current role, he leads a team of Data Scientists who are building end-to-end AI/ML solutions that power Walmart’s eCommerce and store business. He also spearheads the eCommerce search and personalization efforts that drive growth in strategic areas such as Walmart Marketplace, Health and Wellness and customer experience.
With over 15 years of experience working with organizations such as American Express, Xerox Research Center India, IBM, and Duke University, Rahul has gained valuable experience across various domains such as software engineering, product management and people management.
He has co-authored over 30 peer-reviewed research papers and received 38 US patents. Rahul holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Duke University. He also has an M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Duke University and B.E. in Electronics and Tele-Communication from Jadavpur University.
