Dr Mohit Kumar currently leads the Data Science, Data Platform and Product Analytics at Udaan.
His background is in applied machine learning across multiple areas of Search, Supply Chain, Fraud & Abuse, Pricing in E-commerce and Fraud & Abuse in Healthcare Insurance. Prior to Udaan, he was Sr Principal Data Scientist with Flipkart, where he was the first member of DS leadership team. He played an instrumental role in shaping DS in teams like Search, Trust
& Safety and EKart. Prior to Flipkart, he has worked with Accenture Technology Labs, Chicago and IBM India Research Lab, Delhi.
He has done his MS + PhD in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University and B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Kharagpur.
