A general management professional currently working with Tata Group Chairman on Strategic Initiatives. In my earlier role was a founding Director and the CEO Financial Services at Tata Digital. Before this role, worked as CEO of Tata Strategic Management Group driving various strategic initiatives including launching the Tata Digital platform. TSMG is the Strategy Center of Excellence of Tata Group focused on Group Strategy, Business Incubation and Corporate Strategy and Transformation initiatives of Tata Group companies.

Before Tata Group worked with Axis Bank leading Corporate Strategy, Strategic Investments and New Initiatives. In this role drove a number of strategic investment / divestment decisions of Axis Bank and lead various Fintech initiatives including setting up of digital invoice discounting marketplace www.invoicemart.com. In addition was the chair of Strategic Payments Council at Axis Bank.

Earlier in Axis Bank as Head – Enterprise Risk, Market Risk, Risk Analytics, Operational Risk and Risk Data Management, built credit risk analytics tools and models, rolled out enterprise wide risk management and risk appetite cascading framework, and strengthened market risk and operational risk practices.

In an earlier role as the founding CEO of Axis Securities, built a next generation online investment and advisory platform.

Have hands-on experience in building digital and fintech businesses from a start-up stage, scaling them profitably, and leading multi-functional teams across various sectors including global remittances, Global Private Banking, Retail Broking / Securities business (online and off-line), risk management, fintech marketplaces, and Corporate Strategy.

An amateur runner who started running at the age of 48. Now running is a part of my life and has given my life a new meaning.
