Kausik Halder is a student of Computer Science and an alma-mater of the Universityof Calcutta, West Bengal University of Technology, Institutions of Engineers(India), Indira Gandhi National Open University, National Institute ofTechnical Teachers’ Training & Research, Kolkata, Indian Law Institute,Delhi and National Law Institute University, Bhopal.
Shri Halder was conferred with the Gold Medal from the Vice Chancellor of WestBengal University of Technology for securing first position in Post graduate examination.
Shri Halder holds certificates in Project Management, Cyber Security, Cyber Law, DataPrivacy, GRC, Cyber Crime Investigation and Digital Forensic.
He completed the National Cyber Security Scholarship Program by ISAC-MDI Gurgaon and is a member of the prestigious National Security Database of ISAC.
After completing his education Sri Halder joined academics and served Universities, Colleges,Councils for a long period. Along with his teaching career he also spearheaded digital transformation of different e-Governance eco-system over the last twenty five years.
During his current tenure in the WEBEL, he served the corporation having been posted at various verticals and played a major role in recognition of WEBEL byCert-In, Govt. of India. Under his leadership WEBEL setup Centre of Excellence Son 3D Printing, Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning,IoT, Sensors and also entered into many successful collaborations like withUniversity of Calcutta, Jadavpur University, CGCRI, EC Council, Data SecurityCouncil of India and many more. He was conferred ‘Certificate of Appreciation’’ from the head of the Corporation For his professional excellence in the year 2024.
