His career comprises of 12+ years of experience in Statistics, Machine Learning, Prediction modeling, Time Series, Estimation of long-time trends etc. After building business-critical delivery using decision-making platforms in his previous roles, he joined Zendrive as one of the pioneer data scientists and helped build the product from scratch in a robust, data-driven as well as rigorous way, to handle the data vagaries in the most comprehensive manner.

Jayanta has been an ardent proponent of statistical purity of machine learning algorithms and puts emphasis on the rigor required to build solutions that mimic common-sense approaches, instead of using learning modules as tool black-boxes. His expertise lies in understanding patterns in data using visual and exploratory tools, converting that insight into actionable algorithms in pattern recognition, and finally building the solution to answer business-critical questions in a customer-friendly manner.

Jayanta loves to travel around the world with his wife Sumana, who is a renowned polymer chemist by profession, play cricket and spend time with his family including his 9-year-old son Kshitij.
