T. R. Mughilan is the Co-founder and CEO of Skylark Drones, a Bengaluru-based company pioneering the adoption of drone technology across industries worldwide. Since founding the company in 2014, he has led innovations in aerial data analytics, precision mapping, and regulatory compliance, enabling businesses to harness drones for operational intelligence today and in the future.

Beyond his entrepreneurial work, Mughilan serves as a Board Member of the Academic Council at R.V. College of Engineering, where he helps shape the Aerospace Engineering syllabus, working closely with leading professors and industry experts to prepare the next generation of engineers.

Previously, as Chief Design Engineer at Project Vyoma, he designed and successfully test-flew eight unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and led teams to global recognition—securing 7th and 8th place in SAE International Aerodesign competitions among 75 teams worldwide. He also mentored junior engineers, conducted aerodynamics and aircraft design workshops, and streamlined UAV design processes through systems engineering.
