Dr Nagendra Nagaraja is the Founder, CEO & Chairman of QpiAI India Private Limited. At QpiAI he leads a team of scientists, business development team and engineers that built India’s most power ful Quantum computer. He built QpiAI from t he ground up wit h 100+ engineers and PhDs which is a world class deep tech team. He is also instrumental in policy advocacy for National Quantum Mission (NQM), where QpiAI has been awarded first investment from NQM to build 64 qubit Quantum chip. He also represented the Indian delegation to Washington DC, for iCET under he invitation of NSA Ajit Doval. Further he was co-chair for the star tup committee at ASSOCHAM. He has also driven many Quantum initiatives across the country. He has over 25+ years of Industr y experience in semiconductor electronics, wireless systems, and ar tificial intelligence. He has 30+ granted patents in t he areas of AI/ML, Security, Wireless, and Multimedia, and many patents under review.
Dr Nagendra Nagaraja is also a serial entrepreneur, wit h founding 6 companies among which 5 of them are active and under the umbrella of Qpi Technology which is a holding company that promotes companies which are essential to society, caters to large markets and involves deep technology problems to be solved.
Prior to QpiAI, Dr Nagendra Nagaraja held many Technical leadership positions at Qualcomm, ST Ericsson and Nvidia, where he was instrumental in innovating new technologies for businesses across the globe and drove many products to completion. Dr Nagendra also founded Alphaics, India’s first AI chip company on agent based compute in 2016 with an objective to enable Agent based compute to solve emergent problems.
Dr. Nagendra Nagaraja is a Ph.D. in Wireless, ML, and AI from Coventry University, UK and has a Masters in ECE from Illinois Institute of Technology.
