Paroma Chatterjee is a seasoned Banking and Fintech professional with more than 2 decades of experience working with some of the best Financial Services organisations in the country. She spent the first phase of her career in banking, launching cards for banks like ICICI Bank and Kotak Mahindra Bank. Since then, she has been at the forefront of the Fintech revolution in India, starting with the first mobile wallet for the leading telecom company Airtel Money back in 2010.
Paroma has launched and scaled several flagship businesses since then – including the marketplace business of the e-Commerce behemoth Flipkart. After that she led the scale up of the Indian FinTech company Lendingkart to a book size of USD 400 million.nShe joined Revolut in April 2021 to take charge as the CEO of Revolut India.
Revolut India is a wholly owned subsidiary of London headquartered global Fintech company, Revolut Group, which is the UK’s fastest growing private tech company and one of Europe’s largest FinTechs. Paroma has been bestowed with several prestigious awards in recognition of her professional excellence and achievements. She has been featured in the FinTech Magazine’s list of Top 100 Women in FinTech four years in a row 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025. She was bestowed with the prestigious Global Indian of the Year in the House of Commons in 2023 for her accomplishments in upholding the pride of India on the international stage. Paroma has also been featured among the Top Women CEOs of 2021 by Entrepreneur India, beside being named one of the Top 25 Women Leaders in Financial Technology of Asia for 2020 and awarded Woman Leader of the Year at the India FinTech Forum 2019.
