Sumanth Palepu, Sr. Director, leads the Global Sales & Marketing division at GUS Global Services India Pvt. Ltd. He also heads the business at Edology. Under his leadership, the company experienced tremendous growth to a 150-member team over the last two years. Their focus area is to build India’s largest education solution at a global level with top academic partners, industry experts, B2B partnerships, making students & working professionals’ industry ready for today and tomorrow. Sumanth Palepu is an IIM alumnus with 15+ years of experience and 10+ years of Ed-Tech start-up leadership experience with a track record in designing, building and selling education & e-learning products and services to consumers through B2C & B2BC and B2B clients. Before starting work with Edology, GUS Global Services India Pvt. Ltd, Sumanth had a stellar working experience in the role of a Chief Marketing Officer and Co-founder in ConduiraOnline where he was responsible for building multiple training and e-learning products. At ConduiraOnline, he scaled up the company from 1 consumer to 200+ B2B clients and 4 lakhs+ learner base through B2C & B2B approach, 40%-50% increase in YOY revenue per client and many more such achievements. He also moved on to several other roles in different companies like Business Consultant Lead at Tech Mahindra, Asst. Manager of Corporate Services at Sony Entertainment Television. Apart from bridging the glaring gap in the educational space for the audience, Palepu is a sports enthusiast and a cricket lover who loves hitting the screen often. In his comfort zone, he enjoys binge-watching movies and exploring new places to try out a variety of cuisines.
