Prasad Savadi is the Director of Data Science in the Market Intelligence team at Walmart Global Tech. He leads a group of highly talented technologists across data science, analytics, engineering and retail SMEs. His team tracks the entire retail universe leveraging state-of-the-art models in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and computer vision to generate billions of signals every day that are fundamental for pricing, assortment, brands and sellers at Walmart. Prasad has over 20 years of experience in the Data Science and Machine Learning (ML) space. He is an active member of Walmart Global Tech’s Patent committee. Prior to Walmart, Prasad worked at Subex where he setup their ML and analytics practice.
