
Lieutenant General Raj Shukla (Retd.) is a distinguished former Army Commander of the Indian Army, with over four decades of service. Commissioned into the Regiment of Artillery in 1982, he has held key command and staff appointments, including leading an infantry division along the Line of Control and a corps on the Western front. He served as General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Army Training Command (ARTRAC) and later as Director General, Perspective Planning. A recipient of the Param Vishisht Seva Medal, he is currently a Member of the Union Public Service Commission and an active voice in strategic and defence affairs.
