Mr. Kiran K R currently serves as the Chief Digital Officer at Adani Green Energy Ltd (AGEL). In this role, he oversees IT infrastructure, application support, operational technology (OT) security, and the development of innovative IT products. He leads AGEL’s digital transformation across the full lifecycle of renewable energy projects, with the company’s digital footprint spanning over 100 sites across 12 states in India. Mr. Kiran has been instrumental in implementing and promoting Adani Group-wide digital initiatives, including the Project Lifecycle Management tool and the Logistics Management Solution. His leadership has also driven the adoption of cutting-edge AI technologies, such as: •AI-based forecasting for energy generation and resource optimization •AI-driven construction progress tracking to enhance project execution and transparency •Spearheading development of a business Data Lake to unify and analyze operational and project data •Use of Large Language Models (LLMs) for intelligent logistics reviews and decision support Prior to joining Adani, Mr. Kiran held the position of Head of Operations & Maintenance, Technology, and Digital at Mytrah Energy, where he gained extensive experience managing wind and solar energy projects. His responsibilities included asset management, technical due diligence, investor collaboration, vendor relations, financial and operational oversight, cost control, lean budgeting, and contract negotiation. With over 18 years of professional experience, Mr. Kiran’s expertise spans resource assessment, digital innovation, site evaluation, and driving technology and digital transformation within the renewable energy sector. His earlier roles include positions at DNV and Vestas, further enriching his industry knowledge. Mr. Kiran holds a Master’s Degree from Cochin University and a Bachelor’s Degree from Kerala University.
