Hari Varrier is a technology and business leader with over 27 years of experience spanning IoT, AI, Agentic AI, Edge Computing, Cloud Platforms, Digital Transformation, and connected product innovation. He is currently Senior Vice President – Smart & Connected Products at Havells India Ltd., where he leads the vision, strategy, and development of connected products across smart homes, lighting, building automation, security, and industrial applications.

With deep expertise in product strategy, technology architecture, AI/ML, embedded systems, cloud platforms, and IoT ecosystems, Hari has led the development and scaling of market-ready products across consumer, commercial, and industrial domains. As Location Head of Havells’ Centre for Research & Innovation in Bengaluru, he also drives multidisciplinary innovation, engineering excellence, and technology-led business transformation.

His work focuses on leveraging AI and IoT to build secure, scalable, intelligent, and customer-centric connected ecosystems.
