ArindamGhosh

Prof. Arindam Ghosh is a Professor in the Department of Physics at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, and an experimental condensed matter physicist working at the intersection of low-dimensional physics, nanotechnology, and quantum materials. His research focuses on electronic transport in two-dimensional systems, graphene and other atomically thin materials, quantum dots and wires, single-electron transport, and charge and spin effects at the nanoscale.

Prof. Ghosh has built an extensive academic and research career at IISc, following his PhD in Physics from the institute and postdoctoral research at the Cavendish Laboratory, University of Cambridge. He has received several prestigious recognitions, including the Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize for Science and Technology and the Infosys Prize in Physical Sciences, for his contributions to experimental condensed matter physics and the development of emerging two-dimensional materials and devices. He is also closely involved in India's quantum technology ecosystem and has contributed to the vision for the National Quantum Mission.
