Amit Kapur is the Vice President - Applied AI, Data and Analytics at Lowe’s India. As part of the global technology leadership team, Amit leads the global data, analytics and AI teams. He is responsible for strategizing and building data and AI platforms, data analytics and AI products at scale for Lowe’s. He joined the company in 2014 and has been instrumental in setting up the Lowe’s India center, along with several capabilities such as the Lowe’s Omni[1]Order Management, Enterprise Order Repository and Modern Data and AI ecosystem. Amit is a seasoned technology leader with a strong background in data, product and engineering. Prior to joining Lowe’s, he worked with Sony and held leadership roles at Oracle, I-Gate and Ispat.

He is a council member in Analytics India Magazine (AIM), Customer Advisory Board Member at ONIX and a Lowe’s India Board member. Amit plays a very active role in the AI industry and is a leading speaker at many industry events.

Amit pursued his Bachelor of Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Surathkal and has completed his MBA from IMT Ghaziabad.
