Vignesh Subrahmaniam holds a B.Stat (Hons), M.Stat, and PhD in Statistics from the Indian Statistical Institute and has over 15 years of research and development experience in Machine Learning. He was recognized as an Innovator under 35 in India by MIT Technology Review for his work on Self-Learning Algorithms. Vignesh served as a Senior Scientist at GE Global Research in Bangalore from 2008 to 2018, where he specialized in embedding AI and ML in Aerospace, Industrial, and Healthcare products, including Aircraft Engine Prognostics, Medical Diagnostic Imaging, Wind Power Forecasting, Flow Metering, and Chemical Detection Systems. Since joining Intuit in 2018, he has led Machine Learning programs for QuickBooks Advanced, focusing on Smart Products, Smart Insights, and AI-based Marketing. Outside of work, Vignesh enjoys playing the Veena, gardening, cooking, and woodcraft. He is an avid reader, collecting Biggles books and enjoying the works of Hemingway and Wodehouse, and is also passionate about programming in Python.
