Saptarshi is in charge of Shell’s Decision Science group, which is made up of specialized teams located around the world. The group helps Shell’s businesses make data-driven decisions at all levels – strategic, tactical, and operational. In today’s volatile, uncertain, and complex world, decision-making is more complicated than ever, especially when the stakes are high. That’s why the decision science group is dedicated to driving high-end innovation by utilizing the latest AI and computational technologies developments.

Saptarshi holds a master’s degree in Applied Statistics & Informatics from IIT Bombay and a PhD in Applied Mathematics from the University of Vienna.
