Harnessing Scientific Knowledge with cutting-edge Technologies and Artificial Intelligence capabilities

In this talk we will present an overview of the cutting-edge technologies and Artificial Intelligence capabilities of Elsevier that empower more than 50 digital platforms offered to millions of researchers and professionals to support them in advancing science. Elsevier’s state of the art technological and data science capabilities successfully serves almost 800 billion queries and scientific questions submitted annually to the portfolio of our digital solutions. In our presentation we will describe the complex content and data ecosystem of science, and the ways by which Elsevier is leveraging top talent in S/W Engineering, AI, and the wider Data Science, as well as domain experts across all scientific disciplines, and research collaborations with the top universities across the globe, to deliver unparalleled solutions that harness this knowledge for the communities we serve. We will also provide indicative examples of how these capabilities come together to address very high impact use cases among researchers and professionals.
