By volunteering, you’ll experience how this scale of event comes to life: you’ll witness keynote speeches from industry leaders, live product demos, immersive workshops, and the Minsky Awards for Excellence in AI—all while building skills in event management, hospitality, and technical support.

3. Volunteer Roles and Responsibilities
We need enthusiastic volunteers in these areas:
- Logistics & Setup: Arrange signage, seating, and stage props; coordinate venue layout and troubleshoot on-site issues.
- Registration & Guest Services: Staff the welcome desk, scan badges, guide attendees to sessions, and assist with general queries.
- Speaker Liaison: Check in presenters, manage their schedules, escort them to green rooms, and handle on-stage transitions.
- Tech & AV Support: Help set up microphones, projectors, demo stations, and monitor live streams.
- Social Media & Content: Capture photos and short videos, post live updates to Cypher’s channels, and interview attendees for snippets.
- Hospitality & Venue Relations: Coordinate with caterers for conference lunches, manage volunteer break areas, and ensure cleanliness.
4. Training and Support
No prior experience? No problem. We’ll equip you with everything you need:
- Orientation Workshop: Held one month before the event to cover Cypher’s history, venue layout, emergency procedures, and tools.
- On-Site Briefings: Your team lead will walk you through daily schedules, contact lists, and role-specific checklists each morning.
- Dedicated Support: A volunteer coordinator will be on call throughout the conference to answer questions and coordinate shift changes.
